2019 Award Winners

2019 has been a volatile year for gin.

This is the year we’ve seen the first signs that gin may be slowing in terms of growth and ceding space to other products.

The positive trends are that 2019 is the year that the canned gin and tonic went mainstream. Canned cocktails are becoming more and more common, with more craft distilleries getting into a game that was once dominated by big brands.

But 2019 has been a year where juniper has come back with a bang. Several of our 2019 best gins feature gin’s signature botanical up front and center— Juniper Jones, Never Never’s Triple Juniper— it was a good year for classic style gin.
