Style: Antique

Martini and Rossi Bosford Vintage Gin from late 1940s. Antique refers to gins which are currently out-of-production or are earlier bottles of gins still available today. In the mid-to-late 2010s there’s been a renewed interest in older bottles of spirits that show how brands and styles have evolved over the years.

Many of the gins reviewed in this category are available in only very limited quantities on the second hand market and can be quite costly. Unless you’re a serious collector, my best advice to those looking for a vintage gin is to go search grandma’s liquor cabinet. You never know what might be in there!
