Region: Germany

German Gin is perhaps best known by its flag bearer, the uber-expensive and botanical-dense Monkey 47 Gin, which bases its botanical blend on the flora of the Black forest. But German gin is overall a diverse group with no single style easily typifying a nation whose alcohol production ranges from Riesling wine to having some counties which are among a small handful where true Genever can be produced.
