Ramsbury Gin is crafted in the heart of the English countryside at Ramsbury Estate, using locally sourced ingredients including hand-picked juniper, quince from the estate’s orchard, and pure chalk-filtered water from their own aquifer. Tasting notes

Aroma: piney and herbaceous juniper, with some dry spice, marzipan and fresh grated coconut flesh

Taste: mildly spiced, but with juniper, almond and some hints of cane spirit/white rum. Maybe the faintest hint of agricole. While I’m getting these notes, don’t mistake this for a bold contemporary gin

Ramsbury Gin is a juniper forward gin, but the excitement is in the details around it.

Finish: delicate spice, with some coriander, almond, and angelica.

Cocktails and suggested serves

Ramsbury Gin is a great mixing gin. I enjoyed it paired simply with gin and tonic. But the bold flavor stands up in a Negroni; however, it might be best in a Dry Martini where the unusual and exciting almond/almost fruity note poke through just enough to be something unusual.

Overall, Ramsbury London Dry Gin

Ramsbury London Dry Gin delicately balances a bold classic core of juniper, Angelica and baking spice with some fruity, nutty, and dessert like character. Further it does so with this notes loud enough to be interesting, but low enough to accentuate the classic core.
