1 oz. aged gin
1 oz. crème de cacao (I prefer a lighter colored one, but flavor wise— any will do)
1 oz. heavy cream
Shake all ingredients with ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with fresh grated nutmeg.
I prefer a lighter, bourbon barreled-gin. I recommend steering away from wine-barrel aged gins or new-char barrel aged gins. Try a gin like Stonecutter Spirits Single Barrel Gin.
