From Ted Haigh's Vintage Spirits and Forgotten Cocktails comes this surprising little cocktail that is deceptively easy, deceptively strong, and tastes like its neither of those things.
Ingredients
  • 6 parts Navy Strength Gin (Haigh says overproof, but Navy Strength is the most reliable source for that kind of gin. Stick with classic style if you can find it to balance the Apricot and Lime)
  • 3 parts Apricot Liqueur
  • 2 parts Lime Juice (fresh squeezed)
Servings:
Instructions
  1. Add ingredients to shaker; shake with ice. Strain and serve. Optionally garnish with a lime wedge.
